Dr Stuart Buchanan is a compassionate and skilled dentist with a strong focus on patient care and clinical excellence. He graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2020 and went on to achieve his Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS) at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in 2022.
After several years in general practice, Stuart found himself increasingly drawn to root canal treatments. He has completed a Postgraduate Certificate (PGCert) in Endodontics to enhance his skills and ensure the highest standard of care for his patients. He is now building on this foundation by undertaking a Master’s degree in Endodontics, expanding his expertise in both routine and complex endodontic procedures.
Originally from the Scotland, Stuart moved to London in 2023, bringing with him a warm, approachable manner and a solid foundation in all aspects of general dentistry. He is especially recognised for his calm, reassuring approach and his ability to help even the most anxious patients feel comfortable and confident in the dental chair.
Outside of dentistry, Stuart enjoys staying active through running and, although once a keen rugby player, now sticks to tag rugby to protect his hands for work. He also loves exploring London’s vibrant food scene on weekends. A talented musician, Stuart plays the trombone in a university alumni band — a creative passion that mirrors his dedication and teamwork both in and out of the clinic.
At Minty Dental Health Centre, Stuart is known for his calm professionalism, technical precision, and dedication to patient comfort. With a particular interest in endodontics, he combines clinical expertise with a thoughtful, reassuring approach — especially valued by patients who experience dental anxiety. His commitment to ongoing learning ensures his practice remains at the forefront of evidence-based, patient-centred care.
